Boyce Park tire removal, 3rd and final edition and a paint job too!

Sat 12 Nov 9:30 am to 9:30 pm
Boyce Park Wave Pool entrance

This will be the third and final tire removal from a clean stream with in the park. Park at the Wave Pool entrance. Look for the yellow PTAG banner. Lunch will be provided by the Rose Cliff tavern of Monroeville.

There are about 15 large truck tires resting in a stream bed. They need to be dug out then rolled up a hill, then out to the road where they will be picked up. You will get dirty and your feet will be in a stream.Tools will be provided. Don't be put off by it, the 2nd edition was done with help from the local Brownie troup!!

After lunch we will paint the trees for the wave pool loop as per the County GPS division. This fall and next spring most of the park will be tree tagged by the county and with your help. We need people who know the routes and will work with a team of two or three. One to paint, one to navigate, and one to trim branches if need be.

I am hoping for a turnout of 15-20. Bring your kids along for this one. It should be more fun than work.
