Boyce Park has some lovely wide trails for running, hiking and cross-country skiing. With our help they will be even better. The Carpenter trail needs some TLC in a few damp areas - improved drainage will be great for hikers and runners (less mud) and skiers (snow will stay for longer).
We will load aggregate into a truck bed. The truck will drive along the trail and we will unload the material where needed, spread it and pack it down.
Wear work gloves, tough boots and mud-friendly clothing, bring drinking water to carry with you. Also bring lunch and mtb/hiking/rollerski gear if you would like to stay awhile afterwards. We have enough tools for 10-12 people.
Meet at 9.30 am at the soccer fields parking lot on Pierson Run Rd
