In appreciation for their partnership with Allegheny County Parks Department, Go Ape at North Park announces a Park Friends Fundraiser! On Saturday December 7th and Sunday December 8th, $10 of every ticket sold will go back to the park through a donation to the Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group (PTAG).

“As part of Go Ape's mission to support the parks, we are happy to support organizations, like PTAG, that are such worthwhile contributors to the preservation and sustainability of North Park and other parks across the Western Pennsylvania region. I hope that everyone will join us as we raise funds for PTAG while enjoying this exhilarating outdoor adventure.” Dan D’Agostino, USA Managing Director.

The Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group (www.ptagtrails.org) is a non-profit organization with the mission to maintain, protect and encourage access to shared-use trails in Western Pennsylvania. PTAG is especially concerned with singletrack trails used by mountain bikers, hikers, trail runners, cross-country skiers and equestrians.

During the Park Friends Fundraiser, guests receive $10 off their ticket when they use promo code “GIVENP” to book at www.goape.com or by calling 1-800-971-8271. With the promo code, every guest who books for December 7th and 8th will receive a $10 discount PLUS $10 of their ticket goes back to the park.

“Park Friends Fundraisers”, are just one way the company supports the parks.  A portion of every ticket sold throughout the year already goes back to the parks, and throughout the year Go Ape staff also takes part in park cleanups, replanting, and donating free and discounted tickets to underserved and special needs communities. All of Go Ape’s treetop adventure courses; built in partnership with public parks in Delaware, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, and Virginia, are also taking part in the fundraiser.  The company encourages everyone to support the organizations that contribute to their parks and make this year’s Park Friends Fundraiser the most significant yet.
