Trail users of Frick Park; please join Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group (PTAG) on Saturday, April 5, 2014 to help with spring trail maintenance.
Our Main Objectives:
• Install signage provided by the park for the Iron Grate trail
• Address drainage problems highlighted by the long winter
• Remove fallen limbs and other singletrack trail obstructions
We’ll meet at the Iron Grate trailhead parking area located at the end of English Lane (off Beechwood between Nicholson and Forward) at 9:00 AM. PTAG will supply tools.
We recommend wearing sturdy boots, long pants and long sleeve shirts. Also, please carry a water bottle. Eye protection is encouraged.
Before we start we’ll provide tasty pastries to fortify us. Afterwards, enjoy an outdoor activity on the multi-use trails with your fellow volunteers.
