Join the PTAG White Oak Park stewards for this ongoing workday to build a new section of trail in this 810 acre Allegheny County Park.
Work will include:
1) Building new loop trail section
2) Trail maintenance and repair of wet areas
We want to start working at 9:30am so please arrive early to enjoy coffee and donuts, do the paper work and get familiar with the tools. After trail work, we'll head to the Chestnut Grove by the playground on McClintock Road by Rt 48 to enjoy lunch. There will be homemade chili, Rivertowne Pub & Grille food and Full Pint Brewery brew. We will have prizes to give away.
What to bring:
Wear sturdy footwear
Long pants and long sleeve shirt
Eye protection is encouraged
Favorite outdoor chair
After lunch, enjoy an outdoor activity on the multi-use trails with your fellow volunteers.
