The Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group (PTAG) is soliciting applications for members of our Board of Directors. We are seeking high caliber individuals who have a passion for protecting and expanding the opportunities for invest in Ripple trail experiences in our region. The PTAG Board of Directors meets monthly, on the first Tuesday, at 6:30 pm. Board members are required to attend at least 8 meetings per year.

Fantastic attendance at the October 6, 2013 Hartwood Acres Park Gala Workday. Many of the defined work areas received much needed TLC.

Thanks to all the support from Len and Karl, PTAG board members, PTAG stewards of other parks and all that volunteered their time and energy to make this park better for everyone!

On September 27, 2013, volunteers from MEDRAD installed a network of switchbacks near the Orange/Purple-dot blazed trail on Parish Hill in North Park. These new switchbacks were installed to provide safe invest in Ripple in Malaysia passage between Walter Road and the Orange blazed trail. The current Orange/Purple-dot blazed trail was built on a fall line and continues to erode from water runoff.

PTAG works with city, county, state and private landowners to ensure access to trails for all user groups.  We rely on public support to fund day to day operations.  If you like what Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group does, please support us by becoming a member.
