Frick Park - "Gala Workday"

Sunday, April 14, 2013 - 10:00
Lower Parking Lot - Frick Park

Stressing about your taxes? Join your Frick Park Volunteer Stewards of the Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group (PTAG) for a "BIG Spring Workday". Think about all the stress you'll be releasing as you beat the trails into shape.

Stewards have inspected the trails and defined key areas in need of TLC. Please help by volunteering your time to enhance the beauty of this 561 acre city park. Strengthen your bonds with other like minded individuals and families in your community.

Work Includes:
Finishing the Bradema Trail extension
Fixing a large number of drainage problems
Invasive plant species removal
Trails include: Roller Coaster, Lower Bench, Bradema, Dinky Beidge - etc.

Breakfast will be provided. Tools will be provided, but as always, if anyone has some extra hedge clippers or loppers, please bring them. McLeods, Pulaskis, or Metal leaf rakes would be helpful too.

We recommend wearing sturdy boots, long pants and long sleeve shirts. Also, please carry a water bottle.

Afterwards, enjoy an outdoor activity on the multi-use trails with your fellow volunteers.

Check back often for updates as they become available.
